We’ve all heard how big tech companies like Apple and Google started life in a garage. Now it seems the new venue for tech startups is a garden office. If you have ever looked into SEO – search engine optimisation you will have heard of a company called MOZ. Well, the founder of MOZ, Rand Fishkin has chosen a garden office for the HQ of his new startup Sparktoro.
According to his tweet, Rand has just moved into a 200sq ft converted tool shed in his garden. We love his choice of bold cladding and the narrow windows above the door.
Based on Rand’s track record I am sure in a few years time we will be reading about how his successful business all started in a garden office!
Moving into @Sparktoro's new offices (aka, the converted tool shed behind our house). 200sq ft, a space heater, my computer, and a new whiteboard. What more could an entrepreneur ask for? 😃 pic.twitter.com/leDsgpDnWt
