Today Smart Garden Offices launched their new Key Studio Range. They have been teasing us for weeks with snap shots of different elements of the design, but we have now got to see the whole building!
Charlie Dalton, the man behind the Smart brand is one of the longest serving members of the garden office industry. He and the Smart team build hundreds of garden offices a year, so have a clear understanding of what garden office buyers are looking for, and have distilled this knowledge into their four garden office ranges.
With the launch of the Key Studio Range, they now have a garden office design for all tastes. Check out this gallery to see examples of Smart Garden Offices three other ranges.
Lets look at the Key Studio Range:
The thing that strikes us about the Key Studio Range is the simplicity of the design – we mean this in a good way! The building has very clean lines and the detailing is very good. This image posted on Twitter shows how great thought has been given to the eaves detail – they haven’t just boxed it in with soffit boards. The photo also shows how thought has been given to the recessing of the timber cladding into the core framework.

The Smart team tell us you can mix as many floor to ceiling glazed panels with solid wall panels as you like. This means you could create a whole wall of glazing if that is the look you are after or insert glazed panels at the corner of the building.
All Smart Garden Offices are built on their Patented TuSC system. This building system in unique in the market and has years of experience and engineering put into it. With this system all the sections of the building lock into each other creating a rigid frame.
Smart Garden Offices engineer all the components of their garden offices in house on their computer aided machinery. This ensures a precision frame is made for each and every office. On-site assembly is then just a couple of days.
The Key Studio features timber cladding panels, which as you can see from the images show off the natural grain of the wood. These panels contrast strikingly with the dark core framework. You have the choice of a black finish for the core frame and doors & windows or a dark grey finish.
