More and more garden office buyers are opting to incorporate a toilet into their building. We think many more people would make this choice if they weren’t put off by the considerable work and expense installing the services.
There are other options though such as compost loos and cassette toilets. These systems don’t need connecting to the mains supply, which means you can reduce the cost considerably and the amount of groundwords involved in installing a toilet in a garden office.
Garden Fortress have recently completed a garden office with eco loo, well they created the building and their client had the eco loo installed once they left site.
A 5 meter x 3 meter building was designed with a small cloakroom set in to one corner, which had the toilet installed. The cloakroom doesn’t steel much space from the office area.
Garden Fortress build their offices from scratch on-site, this method can overcome tricky access. If you take a look at the video below, you will see that the access to the site was certainly not direct!

From start to finish the whole project took the team of two workers 10 days to construct.
The office has a cubed roof line, omitting the eaves detailing creates a streamlined look. A decked veranda runs the length of the building, providing a welcoming enterance and somewhere to sit on a sunny day between work calls.
The deck is finished in the same Cedar cladding as used on the walls. We are always impressed with how Garden Fortress detail their cladding, ensuring their lines all match up.
Internally the office has a plastered and decorated interior with laminate on the floor. The room is fully wired electrically, the package includes an outside light. Garden Fortress include the hook-up to the mains in their project cost.
