Garden office shed combinations are becoming more and more popular as people realise that you can accommodate two distinct uses under one well-designed roof.
Graden Fortress have several garden office shed combos in their portfolio. They have a knack of being able to incorporate the shed area into the overall design so that it is almost invisible. This helps with the aesthetic style of the building and adds to the security of the shed, not making it obvious that you have expensive bikes and tools stored within.
Garden office shed combination
This large building comprises of a large office space to the left, accessed by a set of sliding doors. The storage shed sits to the right of the office and is accessed by a concealed door. The door is clad with Cedar boards, which have been carefully matched into the wall making it virtually invisible.
A decked veranda runs around three elevations of the building. LED lights have been incorporated into the deck and will look great at night.
The lights and heating in this garden office are controlled by a smartphone app. Allowing the owner to control the heating and lighting remotely. They can also create presets for different settings – ideal if you have different light preferences for different work tasks.
Air conditioning & Sky TV
The customer opted to incorporate air conditioning into the building; this will give them total control over the temperature as they work. Air conditioning comes in two parts. One unit sits discreetly high on an internal wall; the other unit is positioned out of view at the back of the building.
Sky TV and hard wired internet connections have been run down to the office. Shelving was also incorporated into the office as per the customer’s request.
Garden Fortress build their garden offices from scratch on site, this large building took a team of two 14 days to create, not bad in challenging January weather!
